The area of London in which Christ Church is situated, is one of the fastest changing areas of this country. There is a massive new amount of building, both commercial and residential, planned over the the next few years and at Christ Church we seek to provide a place in which some of the crucial issues around the 'Regeneration' of the area, and wider, can be discussed. In all that we do, we seek to proclaim the love of God and be a place of welcome in which people can experience something of the 'holy'. The present Rector of Christ Church combines his role of parish priest with that of the Bishop of Southwark's Regeneration Adviser.
